Billy Strings has shared that after two sold-out shows at the famed Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, Colo, he’s following up with a newly announced performance at Denver’s Mission Ballroom on May 13. Strings Red Rocks performances were scheduled for May 11 and 12, making the newly canceled Denver date the natural next step for the artist, who would then followed his Centennial State performances with a May 17 performance at the Arizona Financial Theater in Phoenix, Ariz.

Before Strings Spring Performance in Colorado, he and his band will begin the first of three nights at the 1STBANK Center tonight, February 2. The Strings Run Broomfield, Colo. To celebrate their arrival, Billy Strings Tour 2023 Special Poster Collection, the band consisting of Andrew of Watchhouse Marlin, Chris Eldridge and Noam Pikelny of Punch Brothers, Greg Garrison of Leftover Salmon and Alex Hargreaves of Billy Strings of the popular live show–released a single debut “Up On The Divide” along with a live video.
Garrison was familiar with Eldrige and Pikelny from his own tenure with the Punch Brothers, but it was backstage interactions with Marlin that brought the band together. Their debut LP came together when they sat together in a cabin outside of Nashville with the spirit of just flowing and making music. Not long after, they created a 10-song project that included covers that Marlin had been familiar with for years. Mighty Poplar sees Marlin lead in songs by Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, Norman Blake, and more.
